A Fair Move Or A Change Of Color
Controversies are beginning to grow everywhere even in “no right to speak” nations like Russia. An unexpected move has caused difference in opinions between President Dmitry Mendvedev of Russia and the former president belonging to the same party Vladimir Putin, the king maker who got medvedev his job. Medvedev put himself into trouble by giving a surprise interview to the most hated liberalist news paper of the Kremlin, the Novaya Gazeta. Mendvedev was reported stating the current situation of democracy and rule of Russia.
Which actually is the only thing that the news paper criticizes about and often get into trouble with. Only recently before this interview three of its editors were shot dead. This has aroused the ruling party’s concern over the relationships between Mendvedev and Putin. But another school of thought has also been evoked, that the Mendvedev interview was an attempt to shadow the errors of the past and to make the liberalist believe that the present government is a liberal one. The original motives of this move will only be clear as time passes by.
